Due to the equipment we use, they cannot  be operated outside in an open air environment, it has to be sited 'indoors'. Typically in a building of permanent construction, or at a minimum in an enclosed Marquee with a flat and stable floor covering.

It is the clients responsibility to ensure the full and correct venue address and postcode are detailed on this booking Contract. Piccybooth cannot be held liable for delays in arriving at the venue due to incorrect details being given.

It is the clients responsibility to ensure our van/vehicles can access your venue to unload and park during the hire period. In the event of parking fees becoming applicable these will be chargeable to the client.

It is the clients responsibility to advise Piccybooth of any loading issues (steps/ stairs/ restricted parking etc).

It is also the clients responsibility to inform/agree with the venue for Piccybooth to be on site.

It is the clients responsibility to provide Piccybooth with the following for each of the products hired:

Photobooth - a space at least 4m long x 3m wide x 2.3m high. This space is for the photobooth and additional space may be required for queuing, for a props table and for a guest book table. A 13amp electricity wall socket is required and it is preferable that the booth is placed near the socket (although we can run extension leads if required).

Selfie Station - a space at least 1.5m long x 1.5m wide against a solid wall (to eliminate the risk of trip hazard), with a clear line of sight to your guests. This space is for the TV, its stand and a small table in front of it. A 13amp electricity wall socket is required and it is preferable that the Selfie Station is placed near the socket (although we can run extension leads if required). Piccybooth will site the Selfie Station equipment at the mutually agreed location prior to the start of the hire and it is to remain there until Piccybooth collects it back in at the agreed time. Under no circumstances is the Selfie Station to be relocated to another position/room during the hire period.

Hire Period

The hire period is the agreed period that the photo booth and/or Selfie Station will be operational as detailed in your confirmation letter.  Our booth buddy will arrive approximately 1 hour before the start of your hire period to get everything prepared.  We do not anticipate any down time during the hire period other than (in the case of Photobooth hire) topping up the Photobooths paper, ink and/or tidying the booth ready for the next guests.

In the event of any problems that affect the service or cause the Photobooth/Selfie Station to not be functional for a period of time Piccybooth will first of all extend the hire period to ensure the client receives the full hire period or failing this will refund monies paid on a pro-rata basis. In the instance for the Photobooth, where printing of photo’s and/or insertion in the guestbook cannot be performed, these will be printed off site and sent to the client separately with a £30 refund.

Equipment Damage and termination of hire

If our Photobooth or Selfie station equipment becomes damaged during the hire period by the client or one of the clients guests the client will be responsible for the cost of replacement/repairing the parts and will forfeit any Damage deposit paid to us.

Also, in the case of Photobooth hire, should our booth buddy be concerned that our equipment is being abused, is at high risk of being damaged or that guests are behaving in an inappropriate/threatening manner, Piccybooth reserves the right to either:

  • Refuse entry to the booth

  • Terminate the hire agreement. If terminated no refunds will be issued.

We are more than happy for children to take part in the photo booth experience but we do ask that all children under the age of 10 are accompanied by an adult (16 years +)

Use of photos/videos

By instructing Piccybooth, the client gives Piccybooth the right and permission to copyright and use all photos and videos (where applicable) of the client or their guests for marketing purposes.

In the case of Photobooth hire, we are happy to upload Photobooth photo's to our facebook page, but Piccybooth will only upload them upon receipt of the client's written authorisation expressly requesting Piccybooth to do so.
